Day 07: Tokyo

Today, we went to Akihabara, a famous electrical area in Tokyo. There were heaps of shops selling computers, audio equipments and DVD/CDs. There were a few shops selling anime figurines. Naturally, I spent a bit more time in these shops. I spent a lot of time playing the figurine vending machines too. You put money in and roll out a container. Inside the container, there’ll be a figurine. You won’t know what you get until you open it. But you can choose which anime/manga series machine you want. Different machine will have different characters from a particular anime/manga. I got a few that I like.
I bought a figurine box from Last Exile anime series. I was lucky enough to get the figurine I wanted. The box is randomly picked so you wouldn’t know what you get. I also bought a flash light for my camera. It costs me AUD489 but it’ll cost more in Australia.
