Day 03: Tokyo
31 October 2006
Today, we spent the day walking in Shibuya and Shinjuku. I bought a long winter coat in Shibuya. It’s very nice. It’s expensive but I guess it’s worth it since you won’t get it in Australia. I saw a very nice leather bag, the right size and very trendy. I wanted to get it to replace my casual green bag. I wanted a bag where I can use to go to work and I don’t want a handbag. In the end, I didn’t get it because it was like AUD500. I will shop around to see if I can find another one.
At night, we went to see Japan vs Chinese Taipei in Volleyball World Championships at Yoyogi Stadium. The opening ceremony was spectacular. Although we didn’t understand what they were saying, the cheerleading was great and the atmosphere was brilliant too. The match won by Taipei after 4 sets. The match took 2 hours to finish. Japan was weak in defence and attack. Perhaps it was because the team is new. They need to play a bit more. I wonder what happen to the others. I must check the internet.
