I think I mentioned before that after I got a Playstation3, I will get the PlayTV to record free-to-air TV on the PS3… 
Right, I finally bought PlayTV today. It was really easy to set up.
The only issue I had was my TV signal is splitted from my mum’s bedroom. To install the PlayTV and still be able to watch my TV without going through the PS3, I will need to split the signal again. So I bought a cheap 2-way TV splitter from Dicksmith. I checked the signal, it was good, but the picture quality isn’t really good. I guess the PlayTV isn’t really a HD tuner (is it?). But it’s alright for TV I guess. As long as I can record and pause LiveTV, I guess for $148, it’s “fair enough”. 
I’m a fan of So you think you can dance (SYTYCD) series. Recently the Australian SYTYCD has started. It reminded me of my favourite dance on the show. It’s by Katee and Joshua from the American SYTYCD. Check it out if you haven’t seen it already. It is still my favourite dance of the show. 
I went to my orthodontist appointment on Monday. He told me I need to get 4 teeth out. 
I called up my dentist and was told it would cost me $1000 for the whole thing. Although I have savings but it’s a lot of money for 4 teeth. It’s not so much it costs $1000, it’s more like because I wasn’t given much choice on who I can go to for the extractions. 
I called other dental clinics up and non of them would give me a definite quote without going for a consultation first, even though my orthodontist could provide full xrays and information. It just goes to show how money hungry they are. It’s not like I want them done for free. I don’t think I need to get my teeth checked because they’ve been done by someone else.
So, I can’t be bothered getting second quote anymore. I’m just going ahead with the procedure. I’ve marked down the dates I want to do them and make the bookings tomorrow. By the way, I have to do this in 2 separate appointments because it would be too painful for a ‘one-go’ job. It would be done 2 weeks apart.
I better keep this short because my dog is waiting for me to play ball with her. Later. Will fill you in about the teeth, probably won’t be so soon though.
